AloneShe sat there in the classroom. Everyone noticed the way she acted and presented herself. Her clothes hung loose on her, her hair was down. She walked differently too, it was like every now and then she would have short burst of energy and walk fast only to resume her slow pace.
'You okay?' They would ask; she always shook her head, 'No'. She just wanted to be alone. But they never left alone. No one truly cared about her anyway. They only pitied her. They always did that.
She would just sit there. Staring; watching the others.
'What's wrong?' Others would ask her, she turned her head away. She really wanted to be alone. They never let her be alone. She never understood why no one took the memo.
'Come on. You could tell me.' They would tell her. Except, no she couldn't tell them. She knew her problems were nothing compared to her "friends" problems. They had true problems. She shook her head, 'No'.
'Well why not?' They would ask. 'Because you wouldn't understand what I am going through
Its just a theory I have"We are born, then we live, we get sick and then we die."
"Well it's true! It's the cycle that usually every being on earth has to deal with."
"But what about those who die in accidents, they don't fit in the cycle, do they? You know some of them are still young and healthy!"
"Those are man-made deaths! They do not count."
"Yes. People create things that could be used to kill others! Give me five minutes and I could kill you with a Styrofoam cup!"
"You would kill me with a Styrofoam cup?"
"No, but if that is all I had and you needed to die, then I guess I would!"
Well what about animals?"
"What about them?"
"They don't fit in your cycle. Some animals kill other animals to survive, and that doesn't fall in your 'man-made' cycle either!"
